Just a side note - from my own experience with quilt classes, they seem to fill up very quickly and if you're looking to get into a class that is 2 weeks away, you might have some problems. That being said, is there a specific type of quilting you're interested in? Machine? Hand? Beginner level? Advanced? Crazy quilting? Hands-on or lecture? Will you be able to provide your own machine, or do you need one provided for you? The variety of classes out there is staggering, so any extra information you can provide will help greatly. |

Time Out New York had an issue about getting a hobby about one year ago. Inside there was a listing for where to take quilting classes. not much help, but something. |

You might get better results by contacting one of the New York Quilt Guilds or Quilt Stores. http://hometown.aol.com/ldrshbbyqsis2/quiltguilds/newyork.html http://www.quilt.com/Stores/NorthEast/NewYork.html Good luck. czh |
