Do you recall where you saw this article? If not the name of the
publication, then a magazine or a newspaper? Can you remember any of
the details? Age of the person? Circumstances? Any of these things
will help us find it faster for you. Thanks :)

I saw this article on Unsolved Mysteries. I think the programme was a
few years old. Amy Billing was kidnapped when she was seventeen and
would be in her early forties now. She was apparently kidnapped by a
bikie gang and sold to different bikie gangs over the years. There
have been a few sightings of her over the years.

Hi bobbiesalis-ga,

Thanks for your question. It saddens me to say it, but the
disappearance of Amy Billig remains unsolved.

There are several articles about "Searching for Amy," a documentary
dated from 1999.

"Screen Watch/In Search of a Lost Cause," by Shane Danielsen. The
Australian, August 5, 1999.

Susan Billig, Amy's mother, who was harassed for years by a caller
claiming to know the whereabouts of Amy, settled a civil lawsuit with
the caller in 1999 against Henry Johnson Blair. Blair was also
sentenced for two years for aggravated stalking.

"Woman Settles Lawsuit with Caller who Claimed Missing Daughter Was
Alive." Associated Press Newswires, January 22, 1999.

The latest reference I could find was a newspaper article of
13.1.1998. She was still missing after 24 years.
