Greetings Bobbiesalis:

I believe I should have eaten breakfast before researching this
question because the first recipe I discovered made my stomach
rumble...and I only have bagels and cream cheese in the fridge! lol

savory flan"

Also, at http://www.salts.navy.mil/foodservice/lessonplans/
MSWord/VOCABULA.DOC was the definition of Quiche as "Savory flan of
egg, cream and various garnishes" so you may want to look at quiche
recipes as well. Chef to Chef at
http://contents.chef2chef.net/qry/french+cooking/st-118/p-6/ also
states "Quiche Lorraine is the best known of the savory flans."

I hope these recipes spark you to create your own savory flans! If
you need clarification on any of the links or information I have
provided, please ask and I will be happy to respond. Now, I must go
and have my breakfast because these recipes have made my mouth water!
