morning kids,

granny's all fuzzy this morning and can't find this medication called
"Skeleril" 800 mg, probably for osteoarthritis. definitely not
Flexeril. might be an OTC med or one from Canada. no can find. can
you?

happy Abe's Day and thanks a million!

that's a good guess but Celebrex max dose is usually 200 mg, sometimes
up to 400. I'm thinking this might be in the ibuprofen rather than
Cox-2 family of drugs. thanks for trying. granny appreciates your
efforts immensely!!

you're probably right doc. thought it might be something in the
Motrin category but it does seem to be half Skelaxin/half Flexeril and
the mg fits. didn't know if it was some kind of weird compounding
hybrid. so you think it's a simple misspeak? go ahead and post as an
answer if that do be the case. thanks, baby doll!

Hello,
I believe the medicine is Skelaxin - a muscle relaxant. It comes as
400 or 800mg 3x or 4x/day.

Accessmednet.com - Skelaxin

About four years ago, I used to buy an OTC glucosamine/chondroitin
product called Skelaryl. It was sold in 800mg capsules. Unfortunately,
I no longer have a bottle of the stuff, and I can't find any mention
of it on the Web.

dear pf et al.,

following up on your glucosamine clue and the -ryl ending (like
Amaryl), it could be a Canadian joint support drug for diabetics.
grrr. adding this clue or red herring in case anyone's still on the
case.

Maybe if the arthritic person has mental problems, the drug is Melloril?

Hi,

Try taking at look at this page - remedyfind.
http://remedyfind.com/all_remedies.asp?id=54
It lists tons of medications. Maybe she can pick out the right name?

Good luck,

nope, magnesium, patient wasn't psychotic although the Mellaril dosage
fit. thanks for trying.

bcguide, didn't find a listing but have bookmarked your useful link.
much appreciated.

I'll leave this open in case someone actually finds a
Skeleril/Skelaryl in the time remaining. will post to a couple
bulletin boards and let you know if anything turns up.

thanks for the help so far,
GB
