Few schools require math credit for B.A. liberal arts degrees (such as degrees in English, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, etc.) |

Did you have a school in particular you wanted to know? Each school varies in their requirements-- and if they have a core curriculum that requies math classes. You may find it easier to look at the programs that almost always require math courses to get a better idea as to which do not. All engineering and science major usually require math. So do most business and economic programs. Some degrees, (ie, english, theater, knitting) usually do not. Often, in many cases, basic math knowledge is often needed to compute one's GPA and course credits. |

i agree with pinkfreud-ga when i say that the majority of bachelors of arts (BA) degrees require very little or no math. communications, english, creative writing, art, et al, are good example of degrees that will often require very little or no math courses. |
