Good afternoon,

There is an abundance of information on how to perform basic DB
replication:

1. OraFAQ has a detailed FAQ (http://www.orafaq.com/faqrepl.html)
describing basic replication, types of objects, replication
monitoring, conflict resolution, and other pertinent items. It also
has a series of advanced replication scripts into which you can plug
in information about your Oracle environment, database, and
replication requirements. (http://www.orafaq.com/faqscrpt.htm#ADVREP)
2. If you wish to set up a symmetric replication, there is a
step-by-step walkthrough at
http://www.fors.com/orasupp/distdb/33162_1.HTM . It details the
necessary environment variable settings, user accounts, database
links, and site creation.
3. The OraPub site has an excellent replication strategies guide in
PDF format (http://www.orapub.com/papers2//doc108.pdf ).

Additional information can be found at:

Hope this helps - if you need more detailed info, let me know.
