Hello, First of all, NovaBACKUP is the utilty for Win xp that does exactly what you want to do, you can download a shareware version at: http://www.tucows.com/system/preview/296803.html Nr. 2 is Handy Backup, you can download a shareware version here: http://www.tucows.com/system/preview/246439.html And then there's AISBackup, shareware version is here: http://www.tucows.com/system/preview/195676.html I prefer Novabackup, it has all the features I need and its reliable. Also, most cd-burning programs (f.e. Nero) have this capability, if you want to backup to cd-roms. Windows XP has a built-in backup utility which performs full and incremental backups. I use it and backup my hard disk to a USB 2.0 external hard disk. Works very well for me. USB 2.0 is VERY much faster that USB 1.0. If you don't have a USB 2.0 port, you can buy a card to add it. |
