I have a computer hooked to my JVC 48WP30 widescreen HDTV through an
Audio Authority 9A60 VGA to Component video adapter to display my
desktop on my computer on the television. The problem is that because
my TV is 16:9 widescreen the resolution does not match up well. There
are some parts of the desktop I cannot see, even when adjusting the
aspect ratio of my television. I need to find a program that I can run
on the computer that I can change the resolution so that it will
nicely fit my tv screen. It will need to output a correct resolution
for the resolutions my tv can display such as 1080i, 720p, 480p, etc. Note:
powerstrip does not seem to work, unless Im using it improperly.
