Demographic data sure for that topic is hard to come by, and may be
present only in reports that you may have to pay for to download. If
so, should a list of major shopping centers according to travel
website suggestions suffice?

I currently live in singapore and am aware of all of the major
shopping centres.  I wanted to refine this to the busiest 2 or 3 in
order to obtain the location for the outlets that would bring the most
success.  Accurate details of where I can get this data would help.

Hello, it's me again, sorry to have been gone long. I had forgotten
your question for a while, and I was almost in panic to see only one
day left!

Anyway, you might want to consider Jurong Point as one of your
possible spots. It's the only shopping center I've seen so far that
shows its shopper traffic. I'll keep on looking.

I will just post the information I found as a comment, since I could
not provide a full answer.

I was unable to find a website that freely gives information on
Singaporean shopping center traffic. All I could find is Jurong
Point's claim of having 1,600,000 monthly shopper traffic (2 million
on holidays). But I did read somewhere that there are much bigger as
well as more popular malls, so may I suggest those places for your
food stalls. Centrepoint, Takashimaya and Suntec are the most likely
choices for me.
