I am getting married in 8 days.  My fiancee has had her eye on a
particular dress in the A. B. Lamdin catalog.  It is the "Romance
Dress" by Scala.  Item #K519.  My fiancee is a size 14, and a 36 B
bust size.  Lamdin is out of stock, and no longer plans to carry this
dress, so they will not be re-ordering.  I do not know if the dress is
out of production or not.

I need to find this dress in a size 14 and purchase it in time for a
delivery by Friday, February 21.  Can you help?

Hi again John,

Ok, I'm still on it. 

Assuming the dress that I indicated above is the one, I have found it
in a number of places.

Confirm these dresses?

They seem to match the description in the catalog:

A-Line style with princess seams. Spaghetti straps cross at scoop back
with lattice detail. Sheer trim at top. Side zip. Beaded silk with
satin florette trim and lining. Imported. Ivory


The bad news is that the mail order places seem to be indicating a 2-4
week turn around. The good news is, I have found at least one place
that appears to carry the dress in its stores.

In order for me to find a store near you, I'm going to need to know
your location.

The Lamdin catalog reference you have is correct.  That is the dress. 
It does look like the other link you reference is the same dress,
although it isn't totally clear.  I live in the metropolitan Detroit
area.  Please let me know if there is anything nearby, or a store
somewhere that will ship.  thanks,

I looked again on the Scala website, and they show the dress as Style
# 47690. That may be helpful if you have to call around. It's in the
wedding dresses section of the website. The site is a little goofy. If
you want to select the thumbnail of your dress, you actually have to
select the thumbnail of the dress immediately after it, and then
you'll have a popup image of the dress you're interested in. It's just
some bad code on the site. The style number is on the popup along with
the image, so I'm assuming it's a good number.
