Nice to speak with you again. 

It's not easy to think of any fresh approaches to add detail to what I
found on David Brown in December, I'm afraid.
I'm not around this weekend but will check this question again on
Monday and post my earlier findings, if that's what you want.

         Thanks to your findings that Dave Brown worked with Elisa
Monte, I was able to make contact with Elisa, or rather someone at her
house, who gave me Dave Brown's phone number.  I called Dave & he gave
me his date of birth.  So, I want to credit you with a sucessful
answer and rate & tip you.  If you'd be so kind as to re-post your
info, we can close this question sucessfully.  bluestreak

Good to know you now have David Brown's date of birth. It's nice to
think of you steadily gathering information for your project.

The clues I provided were from two dance articles in the NY Times,
giving an approximate age and linking him to his creative partner and
ex-wife Elisa Monte.

1  "DANCE; Staggered By Sept. 11 But Not Out", by Jennifer Dunning
(February 10, 2002)

"THIS is the story of a small but established modern-dance company in
New York City and its fight to regain financial health in the
aftermath of Sept. 11. ........
Elisa Monte and David Brown, a once married couple who founded the
company and are its resident choreographers,............
Ms. Monte, 55, like Mr. Brown a former Martha Graham dancer........ 
Mr. Brown, 48, ......" 

2  "DANCE; A Marriage of Opposites, a Merger of Equals", by
Christopher Reardon (June 6 1999)

In 1999 Ms. Monte was 53 and her birthday and
Brown's are "exactly six months apart"

I'll certainly run my eye over your remaining questions - though I'm
not holding out great hopes, I'm afraid.
Good luck with it all. You're obviously building up a substantial
collection, even though you say it's "slow going".

         Yes, I am still trying to process my leads, and where
successful, I believe in crediting those who gave their time to
supplying those valuable leads.  But it is slow going, this research.
So thank you so very, very much for all your time on my behalf. Your
skills are superp. My questions have now dwindled to so few.  If any
look doable to you, I still need help & can often turn such innocent
tips as middle names, where someone lives presently, a birth date
without a yr. or visa versa into a sucessful answer, and credit them.
