Many years ago the Playboy magazine used to run an annual readers poll
for a number of musical catagories (best male jazz vocalist/female
vocalist - that type of thing) and the results would end up as a 12"
LP. I am wondering if these albums still exist or have been reissued
perhaps under a different name?
The album I remember most had a great version of the Dave Brubeck
track "At a Perfume Counter"

I have found information on these albums. However, I have not found
any with the Dave Brubeck track "At a Perfume Counter". A thorough
listing of Dave Brubeck's recordings includes a Playboy album with
"Pilgrim's Progress" and another with "Two Sleepy People". I haven't
found a dealer certified as reputable such as the Amazon zShops; but
it is apparent that these albums are collected and sold, and you
should be able to find a good seller eventually (or, if you want to
take a chance, now). (There is another album in the series that is
being offered for sale on a well-known web site.)

Are you interested in information on these two albums (and perhaps the
third album as well)?

I am only interested if these Playboy albums have been reissued as CD's.
