if i have a ein but i do not know the corperation is there a site to
type in the number and i will get the corperation name???????????

Thanks for your question.  Employer Identification Numbers, or EIN, is
also known as a federal tax ID and are needed to identify a business. 
freeERISA.com [http://www.freeerisa.com] has a database of over 4.4
million companies in which you can search by company name as well as
by EIN.  If you do not find the information there, there are fee based
options such as ChoicePoint Online
[https://www.choicepointonline.com/default.asp] and AutoTrack
[http://www.autotrack.com/].
