During last summer of fall I saw a woman at a flea market in the west
20s of New York City selling antique metal furniture (mostly old
doctor's examining room furniture, and some 50s-era metal desks, all
of which had been refinished by her husband and/or son). They were not
from NYC, but they sold there often. I lost her business card, but it
might have said something to the effect of "men of steel" or something
like that. Can you (1) locate her; and (2) find someone else in NYC
who sells such things. (More emphasis on number 1 unless you
personally know #2 to be good).

I was not able to find the person you described.
I would need to know where she is from specifically.

Alas, I don't have any other information about the woman mentioned in
part (1), but your answer to part (2) is helpful and certainly worth
the $10 I offered. Thanks!

I found some more Furniture Stores:

LOST CITY ARTS 275 Lafayette St., New York, NY 10012; (212) 941-8025
More than just a crowded antique store, Lost City Arts is a veritable
gallery and shrine to marvelous mementos and Pop icons of the distant
and not- too-long-ago past. Everything is here, from 50's gas pumps to
the ubiquitous 60's egg-shaped chair to hysterical vintage wall clocks
that light up and hawk Tab and Ballantine Beer.
---
280 MODERN 280 Lafayette St., New York, NY 10012; (212) 941-5825
Lafayette Street is home to many vintage furniture shops, and 280
Modern, specializing in that golden era from 1925-65, is one of the
most satisfying. Check out their ever-changing array of such Pop items
as a lounger in the shape of a hand, Lucite tub chairs with swivel
bases, lots of Eames chairs and primary- colored modular pieces,
interesting wall sconces, plus original Knoll and Frankl pieces.

There's also "Craig's List":
