I want to know where the jeweled antique looking belt that sheryl Crow
wore is from. It may have been from a video or magazine. I think it is
from New York city. It looks bronze and has semi precious stones
inlaid, pearls, e.t.c. It is all metel and hooks in the back.

Hello Mofi-ga!

I found a link on MSNBC that details the belt and where to find it:

"VINTAGE BELTS
Did you notice that belt that Sheryl Crow was wearing in her
“Soak Up the Sun” video? It’s a Beth Frank vintage belt. Beth shops
the flea markets in LA for vintage jewels and marries them with
vintage belts. Cher wore one on her tour; Renee Zellweger bought one.
They start at $320 and can be found at Saks in New York City, Fred
Segal or Beth Frank for stores (323-931-8257). The trend toward mixing
vintage gems with modern settings is happening all over in jewelry,
too. Plus, it’s a great way to re-purpose these treasures from the
past."

Here is a link to Beth Frank's Press Kit which includes a link to a
photo of Sheryl Crow wearing one of the belts:

I also found the "Soak Up The Sun" video on Sheryl Crow's website:

Here is contact information for Beth Frank Industries:

I hope this helps!

Hi, thank you for your help. The belt is not the Beth Frank belt
unfortunatly. I know that one and I thought everyone would think that.
This is all metal and more like jewelry, no leather. I also think it
looks really vintage, not a mixture. If you have any other idea's?
Thank you, Mofi

Hi Mofi,

I'm still looking for the all metal belt you described. Have you any
idea where she was seen wearing it? Was it in a particular magazine or
in a video? The only belts I've so far been able to pin down Sheryl as
wearing would be the Beth Frank ones and the Red Monkey ones suggested
by tutuzdad below (which aren't the all metal ones you were seeking
but it's good to know that we've pinned down at least 2 companies she
purchases belts from!). Perhaps Beth Frank also has one of her
originals as all metal? I can inquire with the company and see if Beth
has made any such belt. Any other information about the belt is
greatly appreciated, especially where you saw her wear it.

This is certainly an intriguing question and I'd love to get a look at
the belt, myself!

Thanks!

Filian

Another potential source for this belt is RED MONKEY DESIGNS by Torry
Pendergrass. Here their site touts the fact the RMD made some custom
leather accessories specifically for Sheryl Crow and other celebrities
and Crow is seen wearing them:
