It is currently 8:33pm where I'm at. I will keep up the mp3 for awhile. I might as well use this space to explain why the recording doesn't sound that great... I read your original message and then tuned in to Conan that night to listen to the music you described. Right before the music played, I realized that I might not have been able to ID the song on one listen. Not having a videotape ready, I grabbed my mini-cassette recorder and used it to record the music. Normally, somewhere around here I have a male-to-male cord that allows me to plug one end into a headphone jack (like the one on the mini-cassette recorder) and the other end into the Sound In jack of my computer. However, the cord seems to be missing (that's one reason I didn't put up the music right away). Thus, I had to transfer the music clip from the mini-cassette recorder to my computer with the use of a mic. I then slightly edited the resulting mp3. I hope it is useful in locating the song name/group! leep-ga |

thank you very much! as you can tell, your recording was what was needed for a timely answer. i really really appreciate your help in this. the next hope that i had was waiting around for terry gross to play it on another one of her shows and link to one of the archived shows of fresh air. anyhow, i appreciate everything and it was also nice knowing exactly how you went about getting the song clip up. im so happy you had the foresight to record it with your recorder! thank goodness! keep on groovin |
