Hi! I was able to locate the addrress of a Family House Now in
Philadelphia. Are they a health oriented company. I was not able to
locate anything about the grant they receive from the HUD. Would you
consider this as a legitimate answer? Just let me know. :)

I also have their phone number.

The organization was established to care for homeless women and their
children, while treating them for their addictions and psychological
problems. Their children were housed with them and also treated for
psychological problems. At the end of a year of care and 12-step
program, they would be able to move into a house that was provided by
HUD. I don't know anything about the terms of the grant and I don't
know the current status of the organization. There were other,
similar programs, in other locations in metropolitan Philadelphia. I
want to know if the Family House Now that was located in West Philly
is still in existence and at what address and anything else you can
dig up on their status. Thank you.

I have found very little of Family House Now in Philadelphia aside
from the address and the phone number. It seems that there is nothing
much out there. The Family House Now I found is classified in the
category of "mental health". Again is this enough of an answer? Just
let me know and I'll post it and collect the fee.

Mental Health is the correct category. It is the fact that the
organization is still going and has an address and phone that is part
of what I want to know. The other part had to do with the connection
to HUD. So, the address and phone number are definitely part of what
I want. If there's any way to determine the funding source for that
organization, possibly still HUD, I would appreciate that.

Clarification of Question by leelee24-ga on 20 Feb 2003 06:49 PST
Please give me the address and phone number of Family House NOW and
names of the people currently in charge of the program. Forget about
the funding. My goal is to understand their current status, so having
that much should do the trick. I can call them to gather the rest.
Then please collect the money.

Hi leelee24-ga. The info I found only has an address and phone number
but no contact person. Would you still want this info even without the
name of a person to contact?

Clarification of Question by leelee24-ga on 26 Feb 2003 06:41 PST
Give me the information, but recognize that this doesn't feel like
it's worth it. I've discovered from this time, effort and money, what
I could have gotten from the phone book. It would have necessitated
your taking an extra step that you didn't take. So, give me the
information, close the question and recognize that this is not going
to add to your favorable responses from clients.

Please take note leelee24-ga that up to this point you have not paid
for any of our correspondence except for the listing fee of your
question which is automatically applied everytime somebody posts a
query. Having said that, I myself has not received any payment from
finding the preliminary data.

Since you indicated that you will not be satisfied with the
information I am offering, I will post it here at the clarification
box instead of the answer section so you wouldn't be charged.

I tried to find more info but simply could not come up with anything
else of merit. Now am I saying there is definitely no other info out
there, surely not. It's just that from my own searches, I wasn't able
to find anything beyond the data I provided above.

I will keep this open so that another researcher may take a shot at
your question.

Thanks for visiting us.

leelee24-ga,

You may be able to find the information you seek through a public
records search at Lexis-Nexis. Non-subscribers can access various
databases and obtain the information they require for anywhere from
$10 to more than $100 per record.

Considerably more expensive than the $2 you've offered here, but
perhaps the only way to obtain the information.

Okay, sorry for the unnecessary abuse. The forum is new and, I guess,
it's difficult to know what's appropriate from either side. The
Lexis-Nexis will give me more direction. Given the extent of your
input (all of you), I do believe you should take the $2.00. I'll be
more generous with a meatier question. I appreciate your help.
Please close the question.

Thank you.
