I want to record cell phone convos to a mp3 player, what hardware do I
need. I use a blackberry 5810 phone. I want a line in jack on mp3
player. A built in Microphone might be nice for dictation or
sometihng, but not really a considersation, since it wont record both
ends of the convo, only my end.

I would prefer a hard drive mp3 player.

I am more concerned with the hardware / wires / splitter I would need
to put in between my cell phone and the "ear peice" / mic.

I can find a mp3 player by myself thanks.

Note: The FCC requires that notice of any recording of a telephone
conversation must be given to the other parties of the conversation
(47 CFR 64.501; 2 FCC Record 502). This notice may be conveyed by
consent of all parties, verbal notice of recording at the beginning of
the call, or use of a periodic beep tone. Telephone companies are
required to discontinue telephone service to any customer who violates
these rules. (CPUC General Order 107-B(II)(B)(3).
