Hi,

As you may know, Google Answers is a separate entity from Google the
search engine. The researchers here are independent contractors
helping you find your answers, and not employed by Google or Google
Answers.

The Google normally indexes the whole Internet for new sites and
pages, and your site should be automatically indexed soon if it is
linked from a site that is already in the database. However, to
shorten the time it gets added to the database, you can use the
following form:

Your second question is hard to answer, because there are literally
thousands of search engines in the world. Many of these search engines
can be found here:

For some tips to add your site to the most well known ones, the
following link should be helpful:

Also, some questions previously answered by fellow researchers can
also be helpful:

Hope this helps
