You might want to subscribe to this mailing list for film editors: http://www.screeneditors.com/editingl.htm |

This site might do you some good (make use of their message board): http://wave.prohosting.com/cmoger/index.htm I found that link on Google Groups - check here for more possibilities: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&group=alt.movies.independent Good luck, ericynot-ga |

For what it's worth, most of the editors I know think that it is (or can be) an artform. However I am not sure how you will find quite what you are looking for as the terms you are using are very subjective - "new wave editing paradigms" sounds like some bizarre marketing speak in an Avid brochure or something :) There are heaps of editors forums online, although most are populated by the more factory editors (news and drama) rather than feature editors... Good luck. |
