I am trying to put ssl on my web server - it prompts and says the
going to a secure site message (click ok or cancel) but it does not
pull up my index page. I am getting a page not found error, any clue
as to why this might be?

If you go to your website and type in www.yourwebsite.com does the page show up?

What tool/software are you using to secure your website?

Also if possible please tell me what the address of your website is,
and what browser you are using. Do you have 128bit encryption
installed?

Which server are you using, żApache?, 1.3 perhaps?
If so: are you triying mod_ssl or apachessl?
If so: have you altered something on default httpd.conf?
