I'm writing a fictional piece about an aluminum siding salesman
working in the early 1970's--when aluminum siding was selling the way
microchips sold in the 90s.

If the information I was looking for came in book form, the book might
be called "How to Sell Aluminum Siding to Resedential Customers"--but
the book would have to be copyrighted 1970.

I'm looking for selling tips (including explanations of product lines,
differences in types of siding, key buying triggers, overcoming common
customer objections, etc) aimed at the aluminum siding of the 1970s.

Thanks!

Be sure to rent the movie "Tin Men" for a hilarious look at siding sales.

To Nexus-Ga: I'd definitely be interested in "a 209 pp book published
in '77 for the do-it-yourselfer, on siding and roofing"

Let me know how to obtain this info from you.

thanks
