Hello.
I've located two books about John Thadeus Delane.
Delane of the Times / by Sir Edward Cook.
Listed in the Library of Congress catalog:
http://catalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?v3=1&DB=local&CMD=010a+26019408&CNT=10+records+per+page
Widely available from used book dealers such as those listed on
Alibris.com:

John Thadeus Delane : Editor of " The Times ", His Life and
Correspondence. Two Volumes. / by Arthur I. Dasent
Listed in the Library of Congress catalog:
http://catalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?v3=1&DB=local&CMD=010a+unk82051342&CNT=10+records+per+page
Available from used book dealers such as those listed on Abebooks.com:
http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=153955720
I have not found any indication that Delane wrote any books. However,
Dasent's book mentioned above does include Delane's writings in the
form of his correspondence. The Times' archive owns "John Thadeus
Delane correspondence, 1841-1877." See Timesonline.co.uk, "The Times
archive: a guide"

Another book, "Mr. Cobden and the Times," also apparently contains
some correspondence by Delane.
