I am looking for good fitting, reasonable priced slipcovers for a
chaise lounge-(deep purple velvet) and ottoman(pink, green, and coral
plaid). I've looked at most sites that come up when I search on-line
without any luck.

Molly,

When you say 'deep purple velvet' and 'pink, green, and coral plaid,'
do these terms apply to the current color of the upholstery, or to the
desired color of the slipcovers? If the latter, are you open to any
other color combinations? I suspect that finding a pink, green, and
coral plaid slipcover for an ottoman may be rather difficult.

Would you consider making your own? I've found a good site that gives instructions.

Dark Puple Velvet is the color/fabric of the slipcover for the chaise
lounge I am looking for. I purchased the chaise at Spiegels, most of
thier chaises are the same size if you would need approximate
measurements. It is currently leopard print and I am redoing most of
my rooms and can't fit it in anywhere as it is. Reuphostering is out
of the question, since it wasn't that expensive in the first place,
but thought if I could find a slipcover that may be the solution.

As far as the ottoman cover. I recently changed my bedroom to the
"Bloomfield Collection" from Thomasville. I am trying to find a
fabric to go with that color scheme. If not, I will probably just
purchased a cream color or make one myself (??) Thanks for trying to
help me locate this. This is the first time I've used Google Answers
and thought it would save me time.

Regarding the request for clarification asking would I consider making
my own? Well, as a last resort...maybe, but not preferred. And if I
made my own, I would probably need to purchase a pattern from local
store (I'd need all the help I could get...if it came to that. Time
is the problem, so I would probably just buy a white or cream from
IKEA or something- If I couldn't find the specific colors and patterns
I'm looking for. Hope this helps some. I appreciate you trying to help
me locate this product.

To help us focus on exactly what you need, can you tell us whether
this is the style of chaise you want to cover, or is it more of a
recliner-style chaise?
