<In order to attract advertisers to your site you need in general to
have at least 60,000 hits per month. However if you can identify
advertisers that would be interested in your particular clients you
could get them to advertise at lower levels. You need to know who your
customers are. The more targeted your visitors are the easier it is to
attract advertising. If for example your website is about coin
collecting. Other businesses that target coin collectors will be
interested in attracting your visitors.

An advertiser will want a profile of your visitors things like their
age group, their income level and their interests. You can find out
this information by emailing a customer survey to your visitors. It is
also a good idea to add a customer survey to your site as not all
visitors will divulge their email address.

Your letter should include:
1. Your company details.
2. A contact name.
3. The number of visitors you have and or the number of subscribers to
your newsletter.
4. Your visitor profile.
5. Your advertising rates.
6. Information about your site.
7. Your URL.
8. Payment methods that you accept.
