I require the average annual rent for the United States for single
family (or 1 unit) rental units from 1972 to 2001. The answer to this
question/request could be in the form of a website link to the data,
or a data set that I can use for data analysis.

Hello maysonfsu-ga,

I have located a table of median asking rent of new rental units in
the U.S. from 1970-2001. Would this data interest you?

Thanks
