kcooksey --

After a long, but interesting, search, I have been unable to find Mr.
David's birthdate. Since this question is about to expire, I assume
that other researchers have also tried unsuccessfully to find the
exact information you are seeking.

However, I have found the website of a business that Mr. David seems
to currently operate. This commercial website includes a summary of
Mr. David's career, which establishes his identity as the "John David"
you are interested in. The website also includes contact information.

If you would consider such information to be a completely satisfactory
response to your question, please let me know and I will incorporate
it into an answer.

Of course, you have the option of reposting your question when it
expires, so that I and others can keep trying to find the elusive
date.
