Dear badboy45, The "845 G Max MS-6580" mainboard, manufactured by MSI using the Intel 845 G Chipset, needs the following kind of RAM: 184-pin DDR DIMM RAM RAM units from 64MB to 512MB are supported by the device. In case your mainboard is already equipped with one 256MB RAM unit, with two of the three RAM slots still unoccupied, the easiest way of upgrading your computer to 512MB RAM would be to buy any additional 256MB 184-pin DDR DIMM RAM unit. Should you need additional technical information, please have a look at this MSI product support website with the downloadable manuals for the 845 G Max MS-6580: http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/manual/mnu/spt_mnu_detail.php?UID=314&NAME=MS-6580 Sources: MSI: Product Specifications - 845 G Max MS-6580 http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=314&MODEL=MS-6580 Tom's Hardware Guide: DDR333 for P4: 16 Boards with Intel 845G - Part I http://www6.tomshardware.com/mainboard/20020722/intel845g-24.html Search terms used: "845g max" ram "ms 6580" "10a" ://www.google.de/search?hl=de&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&newwindow=1&q=%22845g+max%22+ram+%22ms+6580%22+%2210a%22&meta= msi mainboards ://www.google.de/search?hl=de&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&newwindow=1&q=msi+mainboards&spell=1 Hope this answers your question!
