Dear edsasking:
Thanks for the interesting question.
I have done several searches on these interesting replicas and have
sent out emails to a couple of prospective contacts in Hong Kong. I
will keep you up-to-date as I hear from them.

Hello edsasking:
I just wanted to let you know I haven't heard anything from my
contacts yet. (It is, afterall, 2:00 a.m. Tuesday in Hong Kong). I
likely won't hear anything until business hours - so about 7-8 hours.
Just as a side question: Would you be satisfied with finding a replica
to buy from another location? If so, what areas?
Thanks.

My wife will be in Hong Kong and Naning. When she comes home tonite I
will ask her for other cities. What I want is the authentic replica,
not some 'knock off' made for tourists.
thanks

Hi edsasking:
I did not hear back from the people I emailed. Since you are in a
rush, I will let my fellow researchers know that they should also
continue looking for your information.
If/when I hear anything back, I will let you know.
Thanks for your patience.

Hello,
While the deadline has passed (I just noticed this question), would
you be interested in buying an authentic reproduction anyway? I have
found a place that sells authentic replicas (size ranging from 1/4 to
full size) made just over a mile from the original site in Xi'an
China. They're made in the same way as they were back during Qin Shi
Huang's rule. Satsifaction is guaranteed by a full refund; the dealer
is located in the states. A friend of mine has bought 4 replicas from
this dealer, a large one for her garden and smaller ones as decorative
art; the effect and quality of the statues are simply mind blowing.
If this interests you, please let me know.
Thank you,
Tox-ga
