Hello blaster,
Thank you for your question.
AllWindows.com has an article on this problem:
http://www.all-windows.com/oe_kernel32.html
"When you start Outlook Express or are receiving e-mail, you may
receive one of the following error messages: MSIMN caused an Invalid
Page Fault in module unknown. MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in
module MSOE.DLL at memory address. MSIMN caused an Invalid Page Fault
in module kernel32.dll
This issue can occur if you are using one of the following rules that
are applied before the message is downloaded from the server: Where
Action is: Do not download it from the Server -or - Delete it from
Server. Solution: in the Tools menu, click Message Rules, and then
click Mail. Find the rule that is configured with either or both of
the following actions, and then click to clear the check box next to
it.

This refers to this Microsoft Knowledgebase article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q225096
Another thread I read offering this solution emphasized that you need
to be disconnected from the Internet when changing these rules.
Another solution on the AllWindows page:
"When you click Outlook Express in the Outlook Express Folder List,
you may receive the following error message: MSIMN caused an Invalid
Page Fault in module KERNEL32.DLL.
This behavior can occur because of outdated or incompatible display
adapter drivers.
More information:

Module Kernel32.dll"
The MSKB article appears here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q276727
Generation.net offers links to MSKB articles for other causes of this
error:
http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/ermsimn.htm
However, the errors listed there occur when closing Outlook Express or
downloading or sending messages with attachments. These do not seem to
be your problem, but I included this link for your information in case
the above solutions do not solve your problem.
Windows-Help.net thinks this problem may well be caused by the Happy99
virus:
http://www.windows-help.net/windows98/troub-341.shtml
If you receive an error MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module
KERNEL32.dll, chances are that your computer is infected with the
Happy99 worm. For more information on this worm and it's removal see
http://www.infinisource.com/cleaner.html.
If the solutions above have not yet worked for you, do scan your
computer with a virus checker with current definitions and follow the
link above if you suspect this virus is present.
I continued to look for other suggested fixes, but so many pages agree
the cause is a poorly formed rule, I think that is absolutely your
best choice for attempting to fix this. It appears Earthlink has an
excellent page with step by step screenshots for this remedy here:
http://support.earthlink.net/mu/1/psc/img/walkthroughs/windows_9x_nt/email/oe_5.0/5427.psc.html
"MSIMN caused an Invalid Page Fault in module kernel32.dll / Disable a

If you receive the error message: "MSIMN caused an Invalid Page Fault
in module kernel32.dll," it may be because you are using a rule that
is applied to a message before it is downloaded from the server.
Resolve the error by disabling this rule in Outlook Express."
