Hello. Since you don't need to compress new files, what you need is DiskDoubler Expand, a utility for opening files compressed by DiskDoubler. DiskDoubler Expand 4.0 is available as a free download from the Hyperarchive at MIT.edu via this link: http://hyperarchive.lcs.mit.edu/HyperArchive/Archive/cmp/dd-expand-40.hqx I've downloaded and tested the program. It works. The software indicates: "This version of DiskDoubler decompresses all DiskDoubler and AutoDoubler files... Version 4.0" Also see this description from the abstract of the file: "This is a self-extracting archive of the free DDExpand utility used to expand files compressed by AutoDoubler and DiskDoubler. The new version is required to expand files/archives compressed by DiskDoubler 4.0." Source: DiskDoubler 4.0 abstract, hosted by Hyperarchive at MIT.edu: http://hyperarchive.lcs.mit.edu/HyperArchive/Abstracts/cmp/dd-expand-40.hqx.txt search strategy: diskdoubler, mac, download I hope this helps. If anything is unclear, or you have any additional questions, please use the "request clarification" feature. Thanks. |
