I have not been able to set up OE so that I cansend messages. I get
some incoming messages. but when I try to reply, I get an error
message <Mail could not be sent "TO" account (asterisks mine). There
must be something wrong in the way I set up thr account. Can anybody
help me?

I am using OE 5.0 on Mac Os 9.2.2 Internet Explorer

Hi bernie95-ga,
   Since you are able to download your emails correctly, the problem
is most likely in your SMTP server configuration. You need to find out
if your mail server requires SSL or authentication or not.
   You can find a guide to setting up OE 5 at:
       - Macintosh Outlook 5.x Configuration 
         ( http://www1.umn.edu/adcs/help/email/MacOutlook5.html )

   Just remember to enter the server addresses for your mail servers
correctly.
