I'm trying to get sound working on my Desknote A928. cdcd plays cds,
but the volume is not great through the headphone jack. The speakers
on the A928 are hardly putting out sound while playing cds (if you put
your head up to it...).
Output of dmesg is:

For the DVD, I've installed DVDNAV into xine, and all apropriate dvd
libs are installed, but xine still can't play cds or dvds. The dvd
drive is symlinked to /cdrom |
