Are you looking for a thermometer (or other device) that will tell you
where, at a certain depth, the water becomes 65 degrees or less? If
so, is a thermometer the only solution?

I suspect that this type of research will likley take longer than a
question of this price normally takes. You might want to look at the
pricing guide again for some pointers on selecting an appropriate
price.

Do you want a thermometer that can be put into water of differing
temperatures, and will sink to the point where the water above it is
over 65 degrees and the water below it is less than 65 degrees?

Or do you simply want a thermometer that will sink when the water
reaches 65 degrees or more?

Do you need some kind of "memory"? In other words, should the
thermometer stay sunk if the water temperature drops below 65 degrees
again?

Most thermometers are made with glass. Will that be robust enough for
your application?

Does the thermometer need to be able to withstand temperatures as high
as boiling (212 degrees F or 100 degrees C)? Or can we assume that the
water can never boil?

Finally, do you need a thermometer to show the current temperature, or
simply some visual indication that the water reached 65 degrees at
some time?

If you can be more specific about your needs, we may be able to
provide a specific answer.
