Hello!
I have done some research and this is what I have found.
In reference to your first inquiry of at least five leading non-food
retail websites in Poland, here is a rundown of the top 5 online
shops:
1. Wirtualny Sklep
URL: http://www.ws.pl
Due to the fact that this site is owned by Wirtualna Polska, which is
one of the biggest Polish internet portals, it is also one of the most
popular and it wouldn?t be wrong to call it the Polish Amazon.com
equivalent. The site sells everything from computers to military
accessories.
2. Merlin
URL: http://www.merlin.pl
A major Polish online book/software/music store rated as second in the
industry with sales reaching 10 million PLN ( approx. $2.6 million) in
2001.
3. Agawa
URL: http://www.agawa.pl
Rated as the third largest online retail shop by PC Kurier, a Polish
computer magazine. It has been in the business for over four years and
specializes in everything having to do with printers and printing
supplies.
4. Office Depot
URL: http://www.officedepot.com.pl
The Polish sister site of Office Depot. It has a very broad range of
office supplies and was rated as the number one retail shop in terms
of product range, pricing, ease of navigation, and payment options by
the Polish ?Magazyn Internet.?
5. eMarket
URL: http://www.emarket.pl
One of the most popular online shops specializing in home equipment
and accessories. It is backed by the capital of Polsat, one of
Poland?s main television stations.
I should note that the sites I have listed above are the largest known
online retail shops in Poland. I will list others at the end of this
answer, but it should be noted that due to the market downturn many
online shops have gone out of business and the ones that have remained
usually have a strong capital backing of a large company. Let?s move
on to the food retail websites. Before I go on to list them, I should
mention that online food retail sales are just beginning to gain
ground here and that?s only in major cities. The pioneers in this type
of business were usually pizza parlors. Therefore it?s difficult to
get clear and concise data on revenue earnings since most of these
shops opened up only recently. Nevertheless, I have attempted to
provide you with the most popular ones, but by no means are they in
any particular order. I hope this isn?t too much of a problem.
1. Fine Wine & Spirits
URL: http://www.fws.pl
This shop is a member of the Central European Distribution Corp
(CEDC), which is noted on NASDAQ. In Poland it is the largest importer
of alcohol and wines.
2. E.Leclerc
URL: http://www.leclerc.com.pl/sklep/
E.Leclerc has a chain of hypermarkets in major Polish cities. It
started up the online shop quite recently and delivers its goods
within Warsaw and the suburbs.
3. Bomi Supersam
URL: http://www.bomi.pl
Bomi is a much smaller supermarket as compared to E.Leclerc with
locations in Warsaw, Trojmiasto, and Malbork. It is one of the three
shops handled by the supersam24 system.
4. Mojesklepy.com
URL: http://www.mojesklepy.com
Over 7200 foodstuff and industrial products with quick home delivery.
It is the first listed online food store in the Wirtualna Polska
online catalog.
5. dodomku.pl
URL: http://www.dodomku.pl
This is an online supermarket of the Trojmiasto (Gdansk, Gdynia,
Sopot) region. They do home deliveries and have a wide range of items.
What I have listed above is what I was able to find as being the most
popular while browsing through and searching the best known online
portals in Poland (Wirtualna Polska, Onet, and Interia). The online
food retail business is in its infancy here in Poland and it may take
some time to develop. One of the biggest obstacles to ecommerce in
Poland is the cost of Internet access. There have been recent
developments, but the telecommunications monopoly is still quite
strong. There is hope that after joining the EU, competition will
lower prices.
Here is some info on the online population in Poland:

I am listing additional online shops below:
1. Empik
URL: http://www.empik.com
2. Vivid
URL: http://www.vivid.pl
3. Optimus
URL: http://sklep.optimus.pl/
4. Sportszop
URL: http://www.sportszop.pl
5. Direct Sales
URL: http://direct.sales.pl
6. Centrum Handlowe ToTu
URL: http://www.totu.com
I?ve completely forgotten about another branch of online businesses,
namely sex shops. Here is a link to a list of Polish online sex shops,
which may be of interest to you as well since these shops usually
generate a lot of revenue:

I certainly hope this satisfies your inquiry.

Hello Again!
Unfortunately, due to the fact that I don't speak the language of any
of the other countries you have listed (as opposed to Polish, which I
am fluent in), and also because of the high workload I am currently
undertaking, it would take a lot more time for me to tackle the other
countries. I was able to give you up to date and trustworthy data on
Poland because I am interested in the IT and eCommerce market here
myself.
Since I am seeing that you are in dire need of the data, I can only
offer you to do my best and try to present you with the same data on
other countries. I would see the Czech Republic as the next one up,
and if things go well I'll go on from there, but I would need some
more time. If time is an important issue then I'm afraid I'll have to
pass and maybe another researcher would be willing to take over. I
would like the answer to be legitimate and true and I may need to do
some confirmation of the sources, that's why I'll need more time. If
you'll agree then I will begin doing the research.
Best Regards,
