Greetings Houser:
A degree always carries weight with employers so if you are looking to
be employed by a company, a degree will always be of assistance. If
you are looking to begin your own business, a degree is not necessary
to impress anyone but training would, I believe, be necessary for you
to know all you could about the horticultural process.

on careers in Horticulture"
I discovered many four-year programs but because your question
specified two-year programs, I have included what seemed to me to be
the most comprehensive programs. Should you have any questions as to
the links or information I have provided, please request a
clarification and I'll be happy to respond.
