Looking for a list of hotels in Azia.
- list should be rights free and delivered in a structured electronic
format such as Excel, Access, txt format etc...
A typical record looks as following, however having a list of emails
addresses and faxe numbers only is fine too.

Dear kris4884,
By "Azia", do you actually mean "Asia" or rather a particular place of that name?
Regards,

I would need the best tha one can get. The anwser is granted when
there are 30.000 hotels in the list. Another question can be opened if
more hotels can be found.

Hello -
I don't think Google Answers has the provision for specifying a cost
high enough for this kind of work. Questions are only up to $200. A
list of 30,000 hotels in Asia, if it's not readily available, would
have to be constructed, taking a vast number of hours.

Would you settle for a list of sites that list information on hotels
in Asia? You would have to cull the information from these sites, but
this might be more resonable within the parameters of a $50 question.
Sites such as:
http://www.asia-hotels.com/default.asp
http://www.panpac.com/
list the information as you are requesting. You could then cut and
paste to make your own directory.

Recently a customer had a similar question that he broke down into
regional segments and he had a great response from researchers. In
fact, I believe that eventually he actually did get every bit of the
information he was seeking.
I'd recommend you consider doing this also and break down your area of
interest into several regional questions and allow a number of people
to work on each region. Otherwise, I doubt that you will find anyone
who will manually compile a list of all 30,000 hotels on a continent
for any price.

30,000 just cutting and pasting is long, searching could make it
endless. Unless there is some type of site. I think this could help

Hello again Kris.
As I mentioned when I answered your other question on this topic (for
a USA database) I highly doubted such a database existed for any other
country or region in the world. There's no harm in having us look for
one (and I have a few queries out, just in case). But you might want
to consider using the researchers here to actually construct some
lists for you -- as tutuzdad-ga suggested below -- if it becomes clear
that there is not an off-the-shelf list available for the taking.
If you do go that route, I would suggest asking for one country at a
time, and carefully considering how many hotels could be assembled for
the price you are offering.
As always, good luck.

Kris,
I have been able to find a service of the US Government that claims to
be able to compile a list of all hotel contacts in China - other
countries could probably be done as well. The work is coordinated
through US embassies overseas. There is a charge for their work, but
the costs seemed reasonable to me. If you're interested, check out:

kris4884-ga,
So are you willing to reduce the number of hotels you're asking for?
