What are the most popular careers for middle class and upper middle
class people in India and China?

Hello, 

It's difficult to answer your question, because there are so many
different ways of defining 'careers'.  For example, you may define a
career as working for a large company, such as the Post Office. 
Alternatively you may define a career as a job that you could do in a
number of companies, e.g. "computing".

In addition, you can define careers in different ways - "computer
programming", "helpdesk", "networks".

It would help researchers if you could be clearer about exactly what
you need.

Here's the sort of categories I'm thinking of: programmer, civil
engineer, teacher, chef, manager, human resources, secretary,
salesman, lawyer, doctor, etc.
