Dear Happy_moa:
The first play I located is titled "The Spirit of Compassion" and was
written by the members of the "Creative Writer" class and performed by
student actors (1998-1999) at Cumberland High School, Cumberland, RI
02864. A news story about the play is located at
http://www.youth.org/loco/PERSONProject/Alerts/States/RhodeIsland/play2.html
and the script may be downloaded from
http://users.tmok.com/~mystik/hoc/script/ - there is also more
information about the project there. There is a contact page with an
online query form at http://users.tmok.com/~mystik/hoc/contact/ and a
site describing the project coordinators at Cumberland High School at
http://users.tmok.com/~mystik/hoc/people/
The "Kids on the Block Program on AIDS" mentions three scripts from
their educational puppet theater on the site:
"The first script, 'Let's Talk About Viruses', provides early
elementary audiences with information on the spread of germs, the
immune system, how to stay healthy and a definition of AIDS. The
remaining two scripts are intended for older audiences. 'Birdhouse'
discuses HIV transmission, problems associated with drug use, healthy
choices concerning sex and 'safer sex.' The script, 'Living with
AIDS', is designed to help audiences gain a better understanding of
the progression of HIV infection while exploring the personal
struggles of one woman living with AIDS."

The reference to "older students" led me to believe that the last two
scripts mentioned would be for junior high and/or high school
audiences.
A play titled "At Risk: Who's at risk? We're all at risk," is
referenced at http://www.friendstogether.org/naples_daily_news_12_02_01.htm:
"Drama teacher Debra Kribbs came across the play during the
International Thespian Festival in Lincoln, Neb. She and the cast
added material, solicited personal accounts and tweaked the script.
They added the parts about Shephard, White and Robinson, the Wyoming
student brutally murdered in 1999. White, who in the 1980s was denied
access to his school because he was HIV positive, died in 1990.
"We did this because we love theater," Kribbs said. "As a group, we
had a message to get across."

A short role playing script for students appears at the bottom of the
site at http://www.hostos.cuny.edu/homepages/lesnick/aids/page09.htm
and another from the same site is available at the bottom of the page
at http://www.hostos.cuny.edu/homepages/lesnick/aids/page08.htm - the
lesson plans introduction appears to begin on the page
http://www.hostos.cuny.edu/homepages/lesnick/aids/page05.htm
A health education lesson available from
http://www.rmc.org/pages/curriculahigh.html offers "Get Real About
AIDS" and in the explanation lists "Teaching Strategies: Varied,
including cooperative learning, small-group, brain-storming,
role-playing, whole-group processing, etc."
"Reducing the Risk" is referenced at
http://www.caps.ucsf.edu/sexedtext.html and "is a program for high
school students in urban and rural areas in California, used behavior
theory-based activities to reduce unprotected intercourse, either by
helping teens avoid sex or use protection. Ninth and 10th graders
attended 15 sessions as part of their regular health education classes
and participated in role playing and experimental activities to build
skills and self-efficacy."
The program is explained at
http://www.etr.org/recapp/freebies/freebie0699.htm and a handout with
script guidelines is located at
http://www.etr.org/recapp/freebies/dthandout2.pdf
I also located reference to a student's original play at a college
(see http://www.collegian.psu.edu/archive/2002/04/04-05-02tdc/04-05-02darts-01.asp
but I could not locate the script online. The same for a rap opera
for teenagers by playwright Patrica Pena referenced at
http://www.bi-valley.com/JacksArticles/aids_education_through_the_arts_.htm
A student ministry presented the Tony award winning "Angels in
America" by Tony Kushner (see
http://www.nd.edu/~observer/01252002/News/4.html). The presenters
were termed "student players" but that may mean they play to students
as opposed to being students. "Angels in America" may be purchased at

The Larimie Project by Moises Kaufman is referenced as having been
presented at a high school in the Amazon reviews at
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0375727191/104-3556681-6203950?vi=glance.
I have not read the book or script but it is about the murder of a
gay youth and may touch on the HIV and AIDS fear issues. The reviewer
wrote:
"I haven't actually read the play, but I just returned from seeing it
performed at my daughter's high school. It is a powerful and moving
drama, creatively staged with each actor playing a multitude of
parts."
It may not contain the info you are looking for but I wanted to
include it for your perusal.
I hope the information and links I have provided will assist your
research. Should you need clarification of any of the links I have
provided, please request it and I will be happy to respond.
