Hi oc,

Would you be able to provide more information - Martha even called me
back twice, because she'd like to locate the article for you.
Anything more would be helpful. Thanks,

THAT IS ALL THERE IS. I HAD A COPY AND LOST IT. THERE WERE 2 ARTICLES
WRITTEN IN DEC RIGHT AROUND CHRISTMAS. ONE FOR CHRISTMAS BABY AND
OTHER FOR TRIP TO HOSPITAL TO HAVE THE BABY BECAUSE OF THE SNOWSTORM .
ONLY OTHER THING IS TO TRY THE "WARREN TRIBUNE". IF NOT, THEN I HAVE
NO OTHER HELP. BETTY DOMINIC

Hi Betty,

Hmmmm... ok, on Monday I'll try the Tribune in Warren, OH and report
back to what I've found. Not much is going to be available over the
weekend because of lighter crews working. I'll let you know what, if
anything I was able to come up with. Thanks and have a great weekend,

Hi Betty,

It's Monday... I've put in a call to the other newspaper and the
person I need to talk with won't be in for another hour. I'll call
back and post whatever results I get. Thanks for you patience!

Hi Betty,

I spoke to Somoud, the Librarian at The Warren Tribune Chronicle and
she did an extensive search while we were on the phone. She searched
through articles/news stories from Dec 25 all the way through to Jan
and came up empty. I am sorry... perhaps another researcher can find
what you need.

Best regards,

Betty,

Just to confirm... it is 2002 newspaper articles for which you are looking?

Thanks,

Hi Betty,

I'm posting this as a clarification so you'll receive email from
Google Answers. Originally I had both newspapers look 25 years back
for the article and nothing was found. Today, I called both
newspapers again. The Vindicator searched through their
microfiche/film archives and again came up with no article. I am
waiting for the Tribune to call me back as it may take a few days for
them to do the search for me. If I find out more I'll post what I
know. Have a great day!

Hi oc,

I called the Vindicator - got through to the copy clerks office, a
nice lady named Martha searched from Dec 25-28th paper archives and
did not find the article.

Oh No!! It was Dec 25th, 1963.
That is when I was brought to the hospital and gave birth.
I am sorry if I omitted this.I have a little difficulty following the
way google presents the responses, but I thank everyone for being so
kind with me. Thanks, Betty

I don't know why they would not have it! They always posted the
Christmas babies names for one thing. The small article about the snow
storm, I originally had so it would have had to be on probably Dec26
to the 28th,1963. I am pretty sure it was the yo. Vind tho. Thanks,
Betty Dominic

Hi Betty,

I can certainly understand your frustration. I relayed all the
information you gave to me and spoke with the people at the
newspaper(s) who are in charge of finding old news articles. I wish I
had a more positive comment/answer for you. Maybe someone else will
have better luck!

I did not get a return phone call from the Warren Tribune, so I'm
assuming nothing was found at that newspaper.

If at some time before the question expires, you recall anything more
that will help, please post it as a clarification and I'll get an
email from the Editors at Google Answers and perhaps I can do more
research for you then.

Best regards to you,

ARE THEY LOOKING IN 1963?
Subject: Re: YOUNGSTOWN, VINDICATOR

Hi Betty,

Yes, they are looking at the year 1963. I just received a call from
the person who works at the Warren Tribune. I had talked to her a few
days ago. She looked at the microfilm all the way from Dec 26th
(there was no paper on the
25th that year) to after New Years Day, 1963.

There were 9 babies born on Christmas Day, but none by the last name
of Dominic. There were stories about the huge snowstorm...

I am truly sorry I've been unable to help,
