Hello Feilong,
Thanks for that. As you suggested, there are quite a lot of links to
suppliers of the 4M40 head. What I need to find is a direct contact to
an Original Equipment (OE) manufacturer, possibly in Japan, where I
can buy directly, or an agent of such manufacturer. The Japanese OE
manufacturer who produces the heads for Mitsubishi generally can't
sell directly to other parties but they nevertheless generally do sell
to third parties through an agent in another country or, sometimes,
even in the same country. We are dealing with a supplier of Toyota OE
parts through a country in the Middle East for example and are getting
the OE parts at unbeatable prices. That's what we are looking for for
Mistubishi. Can you help?

Based from your comment, life must be good for you there in Pretoria.
About me, I'm based in the Philippines and eager to find you a source
for that cylinder head. It would really help me if you can provide
more info for the following:
1) Since you said that the price is too high, please give me your
ideal price for this specific part to help me filter what companies to
ignore and what companies I should give you.
2) Your preferred location of the supplier
3) Your preferred delivery time
4) Your preferred terms of payment
5) Other related info that you think I might need to give you an
accurate result
From the above, you can ignore numbers 2 to 5 if you want to make your
personal inquiries on the matter. But please give me number 1 because
it can make my search faster. Please give me time to research on this.

still sifting though all of them. A cursory search using "4m40"
yielded nothing relevant to your need. I hope you understand and

Hi Charles,
I'm glad you had your email address removed. I hope you're not
impatient. After a long time of detailed searching for the specific
cylinder head you are looking for, I found nothing that specifically
mentions this cylinder head for the 4M40 engine aside from what I have
given you earlier. Some sources doesn't mention their price. I don't
like to point you to the wrong direction that's why I'm carefully
making this clarification:
Would you settle for a list of "possible sources" regarding 4M40
cylinder heads for Mitsubishi and Colt vehicles (Please note: No
"4M40" mentioned in these sites)? I'll try to filter and narrow it
down as much as I can.
I sincerely want to help you to the best of my capacity but I have no
means of making telephone inquiries to these companies so your company
would have to do it on your own. I hope you understand.

Hello Feilong,
I am patient, sometimes, and I try to be patient all the time. Not
easy. In 2Cor. 13:4-8, God gives us a definition of love and it starts
with ..... patience!! But while I am patiently waiting, I also work. I
have located a supplier in Singapour who has an agent in South Africa.
The South African local agent will not reveal the name of his supplier
of course but his price DDP (delivered duties paid) of 720 USD for OE
parts is unbeatable. I therefore suggest that it would be fair to
settle for the name and telephone number of the supplier in Singapour.
What do you think?

Dear Feilong,
I think it is better for you to pull-out your answers as you said,
except if you can find the agent in Singapour? No, I din't use the
phone, the local agent contacted me himself. I call that a blessing!
But I am still interested to have the info on the Singapour supplier
as we try to avoid as much as possible or at least limit as far as
possible intermediaries in our supply chain, not just for cost
purposes but mainly for efficiency reasons. So, if you can find this
supplier, stay on. Otherwise pull-out.
