It would be helpful if you could clarify your question just a bit.
Are you looking for a list of the Top 100 companies that ship scrap
metal from the US to China? If so, do you need just the names of the
companies, or any additional information? And could you explain what
you mean by "more than 10 container"?

Thanks.

Hi rabbit63-ga,

The data you seek does not appear to be available in exactly the form
you want. I spoke with an industry expert who told me that he did not
know of a list matching your request. He said there are a couple of
problems compiling such a list:

1) scrap export companies don't all release the data necessary to
establish their export volume
2) many export shipments are aggregated by brokers from a variety of
different scrap metal companies, so it's difficult to say who the
"exporter" is - is it the broker or the brokered companies?

The U.S. government has extensive data on scrap metal exports, but
they do not compile that data for individual companies - their
information will be for specific years, shipping ports, etc.

I did locate a research company that publishes a worldwide directory
of scrap metal companies organized by country. This directory includes
each company's contact information, business activity information,
company size (number of employees, approximate annual income), etc.,
but does not show specific export breakouts. However, you could fairly
easily send a bulk email to the larger U.S. companies requesting
information on their exports to China, and, based on their responses,
compile your own list. This directory costs $265.

Please let me know if information about that directory would meet your
needs. If some of the U.S. government data (which does not address
specific companies) would be of use, we might work your question from
that angle too.

Thanks,

As a former scrap metal specialist for a major steel company, I am
sure that such a list does not exist. This is a market where
information is valued and therefore companies do not release numbers
like this. This is also an industry with many middlemen to confuse
the issue.
