Hello, Bob here. I'm an avid rocker from the decade of decadence.(the 80's) Back in about 1989-an album was released that had the lyrics"she's playin' with my dirty device-it's 7:00 and time to party". This song came from an artist and album that I just haven't a clue what or who either are. It was kind of a rockin' li'l ditty. Please help. Thanks |

Hello. I believe that the song is called "7 o'clock." The group is The Quireboys. Source: newsgroup message: lyric trivia "She got a hold of my dirty device Quireboys - 7 O'Clock" Hosted by Google Groups: http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&client=googlet&selm=7pie36%24sqa%241%40nnrp1.deja.com According to the Quireboys' discography [hosted by geocities http://www.geocities.com/Broadway/Stage/2359/QUIREDIS.htm ] the song "7 o'clock" did originally come out as a single in 1989. It was also released on an album called "A Bit of What You Fancy." That album is now on CD and is available from retailers such as Towerrecords.com: http://www.towerrecords.com/product.asp?pfid=1547245&cc=USD The song is also on various other Quireboys CDs such as Masters of Rock, available from Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0000646C9 search strategy: google groups, dirty device I hope this helps |
