Dear Ed,

Thank you for getting back to me.

In order to pay me, I just have to answer this question and I will
collect my fee. You don’t have to do anything else.

In your original question I mentioned Palindromic dates.

An example would be the date 20/02/2002 which is very rare.
You can read the day, the month and the year forwards or backwards, in
numeric form, and the result is the same, discarding punctuation.

In addition I assembled the following list of articles addressing
palindrome dates:

This excerpt is taken from the CNN article: 200220022002: A Rare Time
Indeed

“The time, date and year will form a rare triple palindrome -- 20:02,
20/02/2002 -- reading the same backwards and forwards. The last time
this rare alignment struck was in the morning of November 11, in the
year 1111, mathematicians have said.”

Palindrome dates:
“A palindrome is a word, number or sentence which reads the same in
reverse order. Of course, there are also palindrome dates when
ignoring all separation symbols. “
This excellent article describes various different formats of
palindrome dates.

The date format is important.

The US has used mm/yy/yyyy and Europe has used dd/mm/yyyy for many
years.

2002 Feb 20th isn't palendromic in the US format, nor in the
International format.

Don't forget the newer ISO 8601 / RFC 3339 formats of YYYY-MM-DD which
should be the default in most countries.

Indeed the ISO format was designed to eliminate risk of one format
being read a another.
