Hi Maybs -
I love Virginia ... it is an area rich in history and very beautiful.
Finding your answer was a bit of a challenge. According to the
official Commonwealth of Virginia website, there is no "Gaysville",
the following are the communities in Virginia which begin with the
letter "G"

- Garrisonville
- Gasburg
- Gate City
- Glade Hill
- Glade Spring
- Gladstone
- Gladys
- Glasgow
- Glen Allen
- Glen Lyn
- Glen Wilton
- Gloucester
- Gloucester Point
- Goldbond
- Goldvein
- Goochland
- Goode
- Goodview
- Gordonsville
- Gore
- Goshen
- Graves Mill
- Great Falls
- Green Bay
- Greenbackville

I feel certain the town you are talking about is Gainesville ... as
that sounds closest to "Gaysville".
Proximity of Gainesville, Virginia and the Manassas State Parks and
Battlefields led me to believe you were just talking about Manassas,
and I didn't find any resorts in that particular area.
A broader search (of Virginia resorts) revealed the Massanutten
four-season resort area in the Shenandoah Mountains, which is a
considerable distance from Gainesville (About 110 miles) in southern
Virginia (Harrisonburg).
Below is information I found for you:
==================
1. Gainesville -
Gainesville is within 20 miles of the famous Civil War battlefields of
Manassas/Bull Run.
Information on the City of Manassas can be found here:
Information on the Civil War battlefields can be found on the Prince
William County/Manassas Convention & Visitor's Bureau site here:

==================
2. Massanutten -
Massanutten, on the other hand, is a ski/snow and/or golf resort area
in the Shenandoah Mountains, some 115 miles from the Gainesville area.
The Map Quest directions from Gainesville to Massanutten Resort area
can be found here (and please excuse the long URL, but we cannot
reproduce copyrighted material on Google Answers).

Information about the Massanutten resort area can be found here:

I couldn't find a "Woodbridge" resort, but there is a "Woodstone
Meadows" resort in the Massanutten resort (look over on the right side
of the Massanutten map). Massenutten Resort and Golf Club is a four
season resort complete with on-site lodging, restaurant and lounge.
Conveniently located just 10 minutes from I-81 off Rt. 33 near
Harrisonburg, Virginia. Their phone number is 540-289-4941
Information on Woodstone Meadows can be found:

3. Woodbridge -
Lastly (just to confuse things further), there is a Woodbridge,
Virginia, which is 17 miles south of Reagan Washington-National
Airport. Area attractions include historic Occoquan with waterfront
shops and restaurants, shopping malls, Leesylvania State Park.
However, there are no resorts listed in the Woodbridge area, which is
approximately 19 miles south of Washington, D.C.

Search terms used:
- resorts Virginia
- Prince William County Resorts
- Gainesvilla Va
- Manassas Va
- Bull Run Va
- Massanutten
- Shendoah resorts
I hope this helps clear up the confusion somewhat ...
Yours,
