I need help in regards to ethics/medical practise. The area of
interest is Physiotherapy.

The questions is: "A patient asks you why they should trust you with
their personal information..."

More info:

1. The patient is being treated by a physiotherapist
2. The patient is being treated for multiple sclerosis
3. The focus of this question is ethics: How do medical professionals
ensure that they act ethically when they handle patient information?
What specifically ensures that the patient can trust the
physiotherapist with personal information?

I am not necessarily looking for "right answer" but rather a
structure/outline of the most important issues that I need to talk
about to answer this question myself.

Any links to existing material are very welcome.
