I would like to improve my relationship with my adult daughter. Would
like a one day or weekend mother/adult daughter workshop in the USA,
preferably within driving distance of Nashville. Actually I could
arrange transportation anywhere. Am not interested in hourly therapy
sessions, but a workshop design with other mothers and adult
daughters.

"Sacred Woman Mother / Daughter workshop"
"During this weekend together we will explore the concept of becoming
a woman today, and what that means to each of these girls and their
mothers. This focus of the Sacred Woman Mother/Daughter workshop will
be primarily on the daughter and the changes that she is encountering,
along with how that affects her mother and their relationship. (By
contrast, the Sacred Woman workshop is open to all women from the age
of sixteen, and the focus of that workshop is on each individual, even
if they attend with a family member or friend.)"
The Sacred Woman Mother/Daughter workshop will consider these topics:
1.	How can you adapt to the changing relationship between mother and
daughter and allow it to grow and develop?
2.	How do you recognize the obstacles that you face, and the resources
you contain to overcome them?
3.	How do you view yourself and your interactions with others?
4.	How can you remain true to your own values and beliefs when they
differ from those of others?
5.	How can you connect with yourself and the Divine so that you never
have to feel alone or helpless, and are able to be guided from within?
Through various exercises and sharing our experiences we will discover
more about who we truly are, and the resources we contain to support
us as we go forward. We will experience the closeness and
connectedness of a group of women while having fun together!
This workshop begins on Friday evening at 6pm and finishes on Sunday
afternoon at 3pm. Private/custom workshops with Alicia are available
for your women’s group or any mother and daughter group."

Sparky,

You might want to contact the Mother and Daughter Bonding Center in
Charlotte, North Carolina, to see whether they have any workshops
coming up in the near future:

http://www.motheranddaughterbondingcenter.com/press.asp

Mother and Daughter Bonding Center
PO Box 10237
Charlotte, NC 28212
Phone: 704-332-3300
E-mail: info@motheranddaughterbondingcenter.com

Charlotte is a 420 mile drive from Nashville, but it's a pleasant and
scenic drive, so the time passes quickly.
