Charter trip down the intra-coastal by boat for two passengers, and
down the Mississippi River

Request for Question Clarification by pinkfreud-ga on 03 Mar 2003 15:20 PST
Can you tell us a bit more about what you need?

If you are wanting information on chartering a boat trip, it would be
helpful if we knew your location, your approximate budget, and the
dates when you wish to take the trip.

Thanks!

I would like to make the trip. Can we buy passage. Is there anyone
that would provide that trip to us? We just want to make the trip,
1st class, 2nd class or crew member. There are no time limits and we
can go to wherever the trip begins. We have no budget limits.

Hello:

From your question and subsequent clarifications, I assume that you
want to travel intra-coastal passages and the Mississippi river. Most
of the charter companies cater to their fishing clients because the
inter coastal passageways around the Mississippi river are famous for
their fishing habitats but that doesn’t mean that there is no
recreational boating service available. I have carefully selected a
list of few charter boat companies and organizations that can provide
you the type of service that you require and are able to customize the
journey. Following is a brief description:

Mississippi Charter Board Captain Association (Highly Recommended)
http://www.mscharterboats.org/
The Authority on boat charters around the Mississippi Area. You can
either hire a crew for an extended trip or travel under the
supervision of a captain. Boats range from all sizes and shapes and a
customized trip is possible by contacting the boat master.

Guide Line Charter Boat Service
http://www.theguideline.com/map_us.htm
A comprehensive listing and telephone numbers of boat charters in 50
states of the United States. Although the services listed are for
fishing charters but most of the services also provide recreation boat
charters.

South East Mississippi Charter Boat Service
http://www.gulflive.com/mississippi/charterboats.html
A list of charter boat services along with their telephone numbers.

Ocean Spring Resources
http://www.oceansprings-ms.com/fishing.htm
A list of charter boat services from the Mississippi region.

Search Strategy:

Boat charters AND Mississippi
Charter services AND Mississippi
USA Boat charter

Other useful search terms:

Boat rental Mississippi
Charter services Mississippi

I think the best option is to contact the Mississippi charter board
captain’s association and ask them for their advice and services OR
you can individually call many of the charter companies you but it
needs time.

If you still think that you need more information, please clarify and
I will work with you to find a suitable charter service. Thanks for
asking.
Sincerely,
Leader-ga
