Hello bede-ga, The flagship was apparently called S. Christovao (or Sao Christovao). This information is in three sources. While none of these sources is expert, the fact that the same information is in three independent sources suggests that the answer is correct. "Lüderitz: Between wind and water" Clive Cowley's Journey into Namibia http://www.orusovo.com/guidebook/content15.htm "Bartholomew Diaz and Mossel Bay" Explore South Africa: Nature's Window http://www.explore-southafrica.co.za/natures_window/groute_history_mosselb.htm Cache of "Bartolomeu Dias", by Larisca and Shiralee (Year 6A. September 1999) Dalby South State School http://216.239.57.100/search?q=cache:WXS3TIWszUoC:www.dalbsoutss.qld.edu.au/DSSS/dias.htm I hope that this information is helpful. - justaskscott-ga Search terms used on Google: 1487 "bartolomeu dias" 1487 "bartolomeu dias" christovao |
