Hello Divonne,
Which year in particular of this model do you need the specifications
for? Also, do you have a more specific model number than RR?
Thanks,
watershed-ga

The details of specifications required are for a Hino RR 172B
1985-1988.
They may have been built for some time after these dates, but these
are the period I want

Have you an idea if it's a big bus or a mini-bus?

Pardon me, I did a search after posting the above, and I found a
company selling an old RR bus on the web. It gives only a few
specifications, like the length, engine capacity and transmission, but
it is a 1988 model.
Are you looking for certain specifications, or are you looking for a
downloadable document, such as an Acrobat .PDF? As for the latter I
haven't found any.

Do you require the information in English?
There's a mention at Sanukibus ( http://sanukibus.com/index_e.htm )
under "All about Hino Rainbow RJ/RR series" at the bottom of the page.
However, this page ( http://www.toyota.co.jp/Museum/Tam/Car/Hino/ )
mentions a car produced by Hino with "the superior maneuverability
resulting from its RR drive". So it could either be the engine's name
or the Rainbow bus series (which Hino still makes).

To Techtor-ga It is known a midi bus.I think it is a 9 meter but
could be 8 meter you could check on the site you found .
As previously stated they are 1985-1988 and newer.
Yes I need a specication sheet in english in whatever form, pdf acrobat
etc is ok.
To Lapin -ga Yes must be in english. I had found sanuki bus site
but cannot read.
The vehicle described on the toyota site is actually a Renault 750
mini car built by Toyota under licence. Has absolutely no relevance to
a bus, but useless /interesting(?)info anyway.

Divonne,
You are right, the site mentions the Hino RR as a 9-meter bus. I shall
look around if there is such a spec sheet on the model, though it does
seem difficult to find as my initial searches have shown. Keep your
fingers crossed.

Divonne,
If anything on the Hino RR is posted on the Net in English, I'll find
it. But thanks for the lead on Hino Village, I'll check it out. Maybe
it'll lead to other possible sources.
